Congratulations to Ms Flood, Ms Mac Donald, Ms Freeney and all the girls in their classes who were awarded the Discover Science and Maths Award from Science Foundation Ireland.
Our joint girls and boys Credit Union Quiz teams did really well again this year with one team winning the overall prize! We also had a second team which came in 4th place. This is a tremendous achievement! Well done to all involved – we are very proud of you!
For the first time this year we had some participants in the Spelling Bee championships in Sutton. Once again our girls did really well.
Our GAA team made it to the semi-final of their league and narrowly missed out on a place in the finals in Parnell Park. Well done girls!
Our tennis team are coming on in leaps and bounds. Having only started last year they did really well in the league where they met schools with a long tradition of tennis. Keep up the practice girls!
Our school was selected as a finalist in Ireland’s National School Photography Awards. One of our pupils was an overall finalist in the competition. Another fantastic achievement for our school!
