Friends First
Friends First is a programme being introduced to our school which promotes the development of coping skills in young children. Ms Kelly and Miss Timmins are piloting the programme in the two 1st classes. It is a programme that is used in Australian schools and has the backing of the Irish National Psychological Service.
Library Visits
Ms Reidy has organised visits for each class to the library at the Community Centre. The Library team has kindly put on workshops for the girls to help to support their literacy. Our thanks to the Library staff for their help and to Ms Reidy for organising the visits.
