Well done to the 4th classes, who recently took part in ESB’s Science Blast. The girls’ submissions were”How is the Covid vaccine made” and “How does our skeleton hold us up?” – both topics which they were all interested to learn more about. The girls took part in a thorough investigations and research – and today they were judged on their submissions. They presented their work to the judges – real scientists! – via Zoom, and had all their questions and queries answered. The judges provided very positive feedback on the work they had done. Science Blast has been a wonderful opportunity for the girls to get involved in scientific learning and problem solving and it was fantastic for them to have time with a STEM professional – we are sure it has given them an increased interest in science and technology!
