There has been great excitement in the school all week since our 6th class GAA team made it to the final of the Senior Girls’ Fingal League.
Despite a fantastic performance, the girls narrowly lost out to Gaeilscoil Ros Eo in today’s final in Parnell Park. Although disappointed, the girls had a wonderful experience and were cheered on in Parnell Park by their classmates, as well as parents and grandparents who came out to support them!
The whole school turned out to welcome the team back and show them how proud we are of their success in the league.
Thanks are due to the coaches – Dee Zaidan, Miss Dwyer and Miss MacDonald – and to all the parents who have provided lifts and support to the team over the last few weeks.
