The school garden has received extra care and attention over the summer by Sherpa Kids with the support of the school. We are all delighted with the changes & look forward to the children enjoying the space as well as getting their hands dirty with some planting.
Active week takes place from Monday 10th to Friday 14th June culminating in the annual fundraising “Onesie Walk” to Ballymastone on Friday 14th June. 6th Classes had a visit from Olive, Pat & Katelyn of Clean Coasts .The Clean Coasts programme works with communities to help protect and care for Ireland’s waterways, coastline, seas, ocean and marine life. As a result of the visit our pupils’ council are now trying to organise a beach clean for Donabate in June.
Ms O’Sullivan organised a fantastic Literacy Week for the girls in March. There were poetry competitions, reading buddies, reading/selfie challenge . The highlight of the week was a visit from author and illustrator Alan Nolan.
